Step 1.Click the “Desktop” Tile. Step 2.Hover over the bottom right corner and drag the mouse up until the sidebar comes up. Click on “Settings”. Step 3.Click “Control Panel”. Step 4.Click “Network and Internet”. Step 5.Click “Network and Sharing Center”. Step 6.Click “Set up a new connection or network”. Step 7.Select “Connect to a workplace” then click “Next”. Step 8.Click “Use my Internet connection (VPN)”. Step 9.“Internet address” – IP-address that you received in the e-mail.“Destination name” – name as you see fit. Step 10.Click “Change adapter settings”. Step 11.Right Click the VPN connection and click “Properties”. Step 12.Click the “Security” tab.Change the following settings:“Type of VPN” – Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol with IPsec (L2TP/IPSec).“Data encryption” – Require encryption (disconnect if server declines).“Allow these Protocols” – Radio button selected.“Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP)” – Checked.“Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2)” – Checked. Step 13.Click “Advanced Settings”.Enter “Preshare key” – vpnext.Click “OK”. Step 14.Click the VPN connection on right sidebar. Click “Connect”. Step 8.“User name” – enter your username that you set at the initial configuring of the server.“Password” – enter your password that you set at the initial configuring of the server.Make sure you use your VPN username and password and NOT the Client Area credentials.
